  • The relatively small very a agile Egyptian Vulture are great for marking out those low saves.

  • It's not uncommon for a Himalayan Griffon Vulture to land on top of your wing. Watch out!

  • Although vultures can be seen flying for hours at a time. They are in fact extremely lazy birds and will do as little as possible in order to conserve energy.

Nepal Paragliding Championships 2006

Registration Form

 

The Nepal Paragliding Championship is an open competition for pilots of all levels.

 

It is intended as a fun event with an emphasis on safety. The competition will be made up of 5 days XC racing with a separate spot landing event in the goal field each day.

 

The entry fee includes daily transport to and from launch each day, t-shirt and cap, and end of competition party.

 

There will be a daily briefing on Takeoff each morning at 11:30.

 

Entry fee is $40 usd per pilot, you can choose to pay now by filling out the form below or you can download the registration form and pay on the day. By signing the form you accept the organiser’s decisions as final.

 

Remember, we're "flying for a good cause" and this competition is to Save Our Soarers, so a donation will be made to Bird Conservation Nepal to assist with their Vulture conservation efforts.
