The Parahawking Project is now closed permanently
Due to unreasonable and illogical restrictions placed upon us by the Spanish Government making it impossible for us to fly with our birds, plus the devestating affect of Covid on the tourism industry, it is with great sadness that after 20 years, the Parahawking Project is now closed. We tried are hardest to keep things going, we could have fought to attempt overturn the decision but we had no faith that we would be successful, we simply ran out of time and eventually funds due to Covid. Thank you for your support over the last 2 decades and especially for supporting our vulture conservation projects.

In addition to our bird of prey based activities, we also offer regular tamdem paragliding flights.
We are based in Algodonales in beautiful Andalucia southern Spain. Algodonales is Europes leading destination for paragliding, attracting thousands of flyers and thrill seekers attracted by its stunning scenery and amazing weather conditions. We are located just 1 hour from Seville, 40 mins from Ronda and 90 minutes from the popular coastal resorts of the Costa Del Sol.
We fly at number of different sites depending on the wind and weather on the day. A typical flight will last approx 20 minutes, longer flights can be arranged on the day. After the flight, we can head to the Parahawking HQ to see the birds and maybe even sign up for a Parahawking or Bird of Prey Experience.
All our pilots are internationally licenced and insured.
About your pilot:
Scott Mason is a highly experienced internationally renowned and respected tandem paragliding pilot with 20 years paragliding experience. Scott is the pioneer of Parahawking (paragliding with trained vultures), he has flown in many countries around the world from the himalayas of Nepal to the stunning landscapes of southern Spain and has flown thousands of passengers from all around the world.
Accommodation at Skywings Falconry
The Skywings Falconry Farmhouse offers attractive accommodation in a tranquil Andalucian landscape of valleys and mountains. The farmhouse is nestled away in the valley floor alongside the Guadalette river which flows from Lake Zaraha. It forms part of an organic farm surrounded by olive trees, grapevines and an abundance of fruit trees where peackocks roam freely around the grounds. The house is perefctly positioned to provide cool shade in the summer months whilst open fireplaces keep in cosy in the winter. Whilst lunches are provided, evening meals can be prepared in the self cattering kitchen. The farmhouse provides a real taste of Andalusian living.
